The University of British Columbia (UBC), “Great education, Great rugby, and Great tradition”. This holds true for the UBC Thunderbirds who’ve just won for the second-straight year, the Spence McTavish Cup after a 21-10 victory over the Queen’s Gaels in the final of the Canadian University Men’s Rugby Championship. A huge Congratulations from the Braidio team!
Men’s UBC Rugby dates back to 1906 and was one of the oldest varsity sports in Canada. There is very strong Alumni and University support making UBC Rugby is one of the best university rugby programs in North America.
The Sponsorship program has enabled UBC Rugby to update its facilities and increase its funding for not only domestic but international player scholarships.
