Collaboration, Knowledge Sharing, Video Content, and More Among Employee Preferences for the Workplace of the Future

Organizations of tomorrow need to embrace informal knowledge ie. their intellectual capital, to create a smarter workplace to excel in dynamic market landscapes.

A survey of 1000 office workers was conducted to provide insight on the future of the workplace. The survey exposed the realities of American office workers’ preferences for methods of learning, technologies they think will have the greatest impact in the next five years, and their preferences in collaborating with others.

Peer to peer learning is one of the most effective ways to spread knowledge throughout an organization, and while it still happens in formal systems, they are not nearly efficient enough to spread among the rest of the company.
